Doña Victorina Hernández is a master artisan from Siguatepeque, Honduras, whose life has been
shaped by the art of working with clay. From a young age, she learned the craft from her mother and grandmother, who passed down not only the techniques of pottery but also a deep respect for the land and the cultural traditions of their community.
With over four decades dedicated to pottery, Doña Victorina has transformed clay into a tool for both livelihood and artistic expression. Each piece she creates—pots, jugs, traditional figures—carries the soul of her story, the wisdom of her ancestors, and a deep pride in her heritage.
