Daniel Mendoza is a film director and documentary filmmaker originally from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. His work stands out for its ability to weave powerful visual narratives. With a solid background that includes a Master’s Degree in Documentary Film from the Universidad de la Comunicación (Mexico City, Mexico), he has managed to merge his artistic vision with projects of high social and commercial impact.
His versatility as a filmmaker is reflected in a career that ranges from internationally awarded documentaries, such as “Tierra de Mezcales” -winner of the Audience Award at DOQUMENTA-, to powerful television spots with millions of views in Mexico.
His commitment to filmmaking also extends to social projects, collaborating with Cine Bajo el Cielo A.C. in animated film workshops for children in Mexico. Currently, in addition to his work in directing and editing, he specializes in film project consulting and digital security for high-stakes documentaries, combining his technical expertise with a deep understanding of the narrative and production needs of contemporary cinema.
