Raul Rodrigo Diaz is a photographer specializing in Instant Photography, with a particular passion for Polaroid. His journey into instant photography began as a personal rebellion against the digital age and has since evolved into a lifelong artistic experiment. Originally from Chile, Raul studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and the Corcoran School of Arts in Washington, D.C. (1988–1995).

In 1997, he moved to France, assisting prominent figures in fashion and advertising photography. This experience led to the publication of his portraits and fashion series in French and international magazines, alongside exhibitions across Paris and Europe. Raul published his first book, Cadavre Exquis, and also contributed to 101 Ways to Do Something Impossible.

In 2008, he opened En Face, a boutique and gallery that became the first store in Paris to sell Impossible Project film. En Face thrived for ten years across two different locations, serving as a vibrant hub for analog photography enthusiasts.

Today, he continues to develop his personal photographic work and collaborates with Polaroid through workshops, demos, and pop-up events. He also mentors students who are passionate about analog photography, inviting them to assist on his photoshoots and learn through hands-on experience.
